MANAGERS COMMENTS
Since writing in the last programme we have been involved in the Invitation Cup Final against Wythall. The game which was held at Walsall Woods ground was a carry over from last season and is played between the Division One Champions and the League Cup Winners. The game was notable not for its football but for the violent and offensive behaviour of the Wythall team. In all Wythall had three players sent off and destroyed the game as a spectacle. Fortunatley, our players did not get involved with the Wythall players, and we ran out comfortable winners by 3-1. However, this is a game that is best forgotten.
