A missed penalty proved costly for rock-bottom Alcester as they crashed to three first half goals Trailing to a sixth minute goal by Moore (P) the home side squandered a golden equalising chance when Grubb’s penalty was well saved by Moore (S) on 26 minutes. Six minutes later Chelmsley added ANSELLS their second when Cooke skipped through for Bell to score. The visitors grabbed their third in the dying seconds of the half when George (L) headed home.

The first goal arrived after fifteen minutes when Matthew Martin headed in a Clive Westwood corner.
Chelmsley almost equalised when Ricky Marshall rounded Darren Clayton but he delayed his shot allowing the Armitage keeper to recover.
Armitage almost added a second when Matthew Martin fired in a shot which Chelmsley keeper Gary Adkins pushed onto the post.
On the stroke of half time Armitage increased their lead when a through ball from Chris Caulton sent Jason Rhodes clear to drill the ball past Gary Adkins.
Five minutes after the interval the floodgates opened when Chris Caulton held off three defenders before shooting low into the net.
Chelmsley pulled a goal back after fifty minutes in bizarre fashion.
Matthew Martin lobbed the ball back to Darren Clayton but the Armitage keeper unable to handle the ball succeeded in heading it into the roof of the net.
The joy was short-lived when Matthew Martin med amends by increasing the lead with a fierce shot.
Jason Rhodes added a fifth after eighty minutes when he latched onto a through ball from Darren Brown, rounded Gary Adkins before shooting into an empty net.
In the last minute Darren Brown rounded off the scoring when he headed in a cross from Peter Perry.
